This month of March has been extremely insane. I have had A LOT of schoolwork to do, along with Spring Break, friends coming home from their missions, and work. Nothing really "new" but every day is a new experience. I love it! I have had some rough days, but everyday is an adventure and a blessing!
So here is what I have been up to.
Happy National Free Pancake Day, right?! Wrong. We didn't even get pancakes. We went to IHOP and we were basically looked over. But we got some water! Haha So we ended up going to the Junc for a late night meal. Thank the heavens above for that! Then Bailey, Jess, and I went to my room and did lots of homework. We super love to do that... actually, we hate it, but we do have to do it!
This is our Hobo picture! Haha Jess and I are waiting outside of the dressing rooms at Old Navy while Bailey finds a shirt for her first date with Nate. :)
Juel and I started Spring Break out with a hike the Windcaves! Please notice that we are in shorts because this beautiful weather isn't lasting. It is so beautiful up there! Look at that landscape! It's breath-taking!
Here we are in the cave!
First Sunday of Spring Break was Brent's homecoming! Also, Nathan's. Brent grew. He is like a foot taller than me now. But he looks good.
Then I went home for Spring Break. I worked the whole time. Everyday. It was a blast. Well... It wasn't really. But I almost finished my t-shirt quilt. Megan found a story she wrote a long time ago and she has always been a diva. Even in her writing. Haha
Ellie...well all of the Wagstaff children walked home from church with us on Sunday. It was a beautiful day!
Jack and Ellie love to sing to Frozen and play Life. It is a blast when they come over!
After Spring Break, Dylan and I had a sledding program. It was a blast! We went to the sinks and didn't fit in because we didn't have a snowmobile. It was the most fun I have ever had sledding. Here in this picture is Jess, Dylan, Tayli, and Emily!
Here Jess and I are flying down the super steep hill! Just rocking the Ke$ha leggings. It was too warm for snow pants.
So. Story time. Here are Tayli and Emily with our broken saucer sleds. We broke them by hitting a person. It was hysterical! Sad, but so so funny. So, it was our last run down the hill. My adventurous and brilliant brain decided we should do a train and we no one was opposed. We had 4 sleds and 5 people. It was going to work. We tried once with the wooden sleds in the front and it was a failure. Giant failure. Then we decided to put the saucers in the front. As we went down the super steep mountainside, I (who was in the back) looked over and saw another girl coming down from the bigger hill and she was headed in our direction. I started to drag my feet because we were flying and had no control and she was flying. I was trying so hard to stop us when she wrecked right in our path and we just took her out. It was sad. But funny. We pulled the poor girl down the hill probably 10 feet until we finally stopped. It happened so fast. My explanation of what happened makes it sound like it happened in 5 minutes, but it was really like a split second. The poor girl was extremely lucky she was wearing a helmet because she could have been seriously hurt. But fun fact: NO ONE GOT HURT!! Best sledding trip ever!
Also, Frozen came in the mail a day early! I was soo excited!
