Life has it's way of being insane, doesn't it? Haha But mostly it is school and trying to stay on top of my social game. It 's a game for real. I don't really know how to explain it, but it is.
So, I had the first (full) week of school. Monday through Friday. It was long. Night classes aren't the ideal way to school, but I had no choice. But the most important thing to you all to know is that I. LOVE. COLLEGE!
This past weekend (16-19) Megan came and stayed with me! I drove down to Kaysville and we went and saw "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" with Denise, Carly, Cambry, Mom, Jake, Grandma, and Megan at Kaysville Theater. It was cute. Then Megan and I drove home. On Saturday, we did some shopping and went to the basketball game! We won and it was very fun game! We were on the jumbotron four times!! Woot Woot! Then on Sunday, we went to church, watched the Hunger Games and Catching Fire then drove down to Grandmas. We played cards, watched the football game and slept there. We also found out that Aryah is coming home on the 28th!!! OF THIS MONTH!!! I am sooo excited! Monday we went shopping and I came home. I did my laundry and got all ready for practicum! Then I went to Jake and Charity's to help them celebrate the 2 year mark of their first date ever. It was fun and they are cute!

Tuesday the 20th! I started practicum which means that I have to leave my house at 7:45 am! I am so used to sleeping until 9 and lounging around doing homework until 2, that it was hard, but I was also so excited that I did it! It was the kind of excitement you get when you are going to Disneyland! I couldn't wait to get to practicum, even though I didn't know what to expect! So, I went and it was great!!
My teacher is excellent and I really like her! She is pretty young and she graduated from USU as well. She is trying to let me do everything I possibly can, because that is what she wanted as a Level 2. I am so excited! So, on Tuesday, which was my first day, she was going to be gone for half of the day. I literally was just thrown into a classroom of second graders that I had never met and told to help! It was very fun and a little crazy! I read the class story and taught a scripted phonics lesson! It was so much fun! I just want to be a teacher already!!
So, Tuesdays are REALLY long.. like REALLLLY long. I go to practicum at 8 am and come home around 4:15pm. Then I have class at 4:30 pm until 8:30pm. It is a long day and I just go home and am ready to sleep, then do it all over!
Wednesday I went to practicum and then class until 7. After that, I didn't want to do anything, so I went home and finished the Carrie Diaries then went to sleep.
Thursday I went practicum, then I had nothing after. I went shopping with Dacy to get Sam a birthday present. Then I went to Bailey's house and hung out with my Besties because I hadn't seen them ALL WEEK!!!
On Friday, I didn't have any classes!! I worked until 3 and then I did some homework. I went to Sam's birthday dinner at Beehive Grill. It was okay. Their rootbeer was good, but that's about it. Nothing exceptional. It was very fun to catch up with Dacy and John. I really enjoyed myself. After dinner, I came home and we had a game night with Kyle, Nathan, and Cambam! It was soo fun! We played games for hours. Telestrations, Bang, Pool, Ping Pong, Air Hockey, and Foosball. It was seriously so fun!
On Saturday, we went to the Crepery for Brunch (mostly lunch) and then we went to Brynne's 2nd birthday! What a cutie! It was weird at first, but then it was fun! After Brynne's birthday I went to Kyle and Cambam's apartment. Jess and I made dinner and then we watched Lord of the Rings #1 the extended edition. It was good. I really enjoyed it and we are going to do it again next Saturday!
On Sunday (25), there was a fireside where Elder Cook came to the Spectrum. I saw just about everyone! DeBryn, Josh, Kyle, Cambam, Jordan, James, Nathan, Dacy, Sam, Nik, Hannah, Melissa, Justin, and Brynne. (the list goes on.) It was very good.

January 5-11

Nn I guess we will see if I can keep up with this weekly thing.. haha

So, on January 5, Monday, we started (real) training. It was.....long. Our schedule went from 9 to 9. But I was just excited to be back with my friends! We had Ally training for the LGBTQ and some programming workshops. Then we went bowling. Bondatory... They separated us into teams and we had to play with those people, so we couldn't play with our friends. It was not the most fun I have ever had, but fun fact: I was on-call, so I got to ditch out early. :) Yay me! Then I worked the office until 10. It was pretty sweet!

January 6. We had training by year, which means I was only trained for like 30 minutes. It was sweet! And I officially finished ResLife training FOREVER!! Never again will I have to attend! I couldn't be more excited! Haha Then Hannah came over and we hung out for a bit, caught up and stuff. It was nice!

January 7. First day of school, first day of school! For some reason we started school on a Wednesday. I have no idea why. But it happened. I had 2 classes today. In the morning, I went to class and then I watched Netflix and then went to class again at 4:30. Yup. That was my day. It was really hard...NOT. But it will get hard.

January 8. I have no classes on Thursdays. IT IS AWESOME!! So I did some homework and didn't get ready until like noon or something. I am going to love having a break day! Then I went to Nik's and painted a pair of shoes for him. They turned out really cool! He really loves them! But it took me like 6ish hours. We also watched the extended version of Lord of the Rings Two Towers. So yeah, I was up until like 2..

January 9. Happy Friday! I worked and then went to class at 4:30. Then I hung out with Bailey, Jess, Jasey, and a couple of Jess' friends. We went to the Institute opening social. It was...interesting. The dance was in the parking garage. Cold, dark, and a little scary. Haha But we found people. We met up with Hannah and then found Nathan, Cambam, Kyle, Jordan, and Daniel. We played Oh Suck for a while then went to Nathan's for a game night. It was so fun! We played Scum and Werewolf. I really enjoyed myself and haven't laughed so hard in a very long time. It was so nice to be able to have all of my friends in one place enjoying themselves! It makes me happy. But we played games until like 1:30. So another night I was up until 2! Wahoo!!

January 10. I thought I was going to, you know, sleep in. But I only slept in until like 9:30. Then I got ready and watched a movie with Jess. We went to Danae's baptism and it was so nice! I am real happy for her! She just looks so happy and I know that is what the gospel does for you! Then Jess and I came back and finished our movie. Then I went to Nik's to spray sealer on his shoes and we watched the Patriots-Ravens game. Patriots won. Then we went to the basketball game! Go Aggies! But this was another game where Nik and I ate chips and salsa for dinner then went to a basketball game. Not a great decision, but a good memory I guess. Then a group of us went to Nik's house and watched the second Hobbit. (2 down like 5 to go!) It was good and now I'm going to have to watch them all. :) But it was another 2 AM night.

January 11. Sundays are just so relaxing!

January 2, 3, & 4

I will be posting EVERY Sunday night...just so you know my schedule. (If anyone cares..)

January 2: Greg and Alli were married! The reception/dinner thing was so beautiful! I am so happy for them and excited for Alli to be part of our family!

January 3: I woke up and went to breakfast with Mom and Dad at Kneaders! We got their delicious french toast! I just love it! And my parents! Then I went home and packed then went back up to Logan for another semester!

January 4: Bailey, Jasey, and I went to a random ward in the Institute and I found Briana Elwell! She just got home from her mission! It was fun to see her! Then we came home. I decided I would listen to the recording of Great-Grandpa Royall that Matt gave us at the Christmas party and to my surprise, it was a video!! It was very cool and so fun to listen to some of his experiences with Joseph Fielding Smith. Then later that night, we started spring training.... It's my last one!:)

2015

Happy 1st day of 2015!!!
I started off the year doing fun things like sleeping in and hanging out! Haha But I worked at Days for a couple hours and then went to dinner with the whole Royall fam (minus Michele). We went to a sushi restaurant and I tried 2 different sushis. It was an experience. I tried seaweed salad off of one sushi and hated it. So I tried one of the fried sushis... it was super gross. Then later, I tried this one that Megan gave me and I thought I was going to die! Picture this: A 22 year old girl getting fed sushi. She starts to chew then she puts her hands up to cover her face. Her eyes start to water and she starts gagging and is still chewing trying to get it down. There are about 15 people watching her asking if she is okay, and repeating, "She's gonna puke." Then she swallows and downs an entire plate of red peppers. Haha yup, it happened. Happy New Year!

Well, New Years Resolutions are a thing and I found this thing to separate your goals so here they are:

A bad habit I'm going to break: justifying everything. Either it's good or it's not.

A new skill I'd like to learn: I want to learn to play the guitar.

A person I hope to be more like: I want to become as selfless as my mom!

A good deed I'm going to do: I am going to be friends with everyone!!

A place I'd like to visit: Somewhere new. Anywhere new!

A book I'd like to read: Four. Mazerunner. The Giver.

A letter I'm going to write: I'm going to write Megan, Christie, Kendra, Aryah, and Makayla the rest of their missions!

A new food I'm going to try: Sushi. (check)

I'm going to do better at: running. and being kind to everyone.

2014: Out with a Bang!

I know that I did a really bad job at blogging to finish the year, but I PROMISE I will do better!! But I had the most incredible year and I can't wait to see what 2015 has in store for me!!!
